The slimline Aguilar Filter Twin Dual II lays on both an up-filter and down-filter, conjuring some singular effects in the process. Swing from a classic, funk-worthy wah-wah to otherworldly, unheard-of filter effects with minimum effort, while the simultaneous filters shape everything with a far more organic, almost-vocal like quality backed up by an expressive range that you simply can't get with your average off-the-shelf filter stompbox. The stripped back control panel provides just four pots: balance the 'up' and 'down' filters via the Blend pot; set the dynamic sensitivity and shape the way the effect responds to your playing style via the Threshold pot; and using the set of two Velocity pots, the sweep-speed of both filters can adjusted with precision to carve out an insane spectrum of filtered sounds.
